Bulgaria's annual inflation will be 6.1% in October 2026, according to a flash estimate from the National Statistical Institute (NSI). That means goods and services cost more on average than they did in October last year.

Prices are expected to rise 1.3% in a month, compared with September.

Statisticians expect the biggest rise in clothing and footwear, at 7.4%. Recreation, sport and culture follow with 7%, and education services with 2.5%.

The NSI's small basket, which tracks prices of basic goods and services, is expected to cost 2.4% more than a year ago.

The NSI will publish the final figures for October in the middle of the month.
