New faces in the Ministry of Finance team
By order of Prime Minister Rumen Radev, two new Deputy Ministers of Finance were appointed – Lyudmila Kostova Petkova and Rositsa Atanasova Velkova-Zheleva. The information was officially confirmed by the government information service.
These appointments are part of a series of personnel changes in the executive branch aimed at optimizing the work in the ministries.
Context of the personnel changes
The current appointments complete the ministry's team, following the Prime Minister Radev's appointment of 18 deputy ministers in various ministries on May 8. We remind you that on Friday, Metodi Valeriev Metodiev was also appointed to the same position in the Ministry of Finance.
- Lyudmila Kostova Petkova – new Deputy Minister of Finance.
- Rositsa Atanasova Velkova-Zheleva – new Deputy Minister of Finance.
- Metodi Valeriev Metodiev – appointed earlier in the week.
