Nessebar council has sprayed against flying insects in every town and village in the area, officials say. Crews did the spraying early one morning a few days ago, using a warm fog.

This follows our earlier report on large-scale pest control in Nessebar on 9 September, when the council sprayed against mosquitoes the same way across the whole area.

The spraying aims to cut insect numbers and keep conditions clean in the towns and villages.

The council runs planned treatments every month – alongside the insect spraying, crews also deal with rodents. Extra spraying is arranged when needed, and the work goes on all year, depending on the season and what each area needs.
