Neftohimik secured their first victory in the South-East Third League after defeating Maritsa (Milevo) 2:0 at the stadium in Balgarovo. Ventsislav Slavov, the injured Anton Uzunov, and the ill Grigor Solakov were left out of the squad for the match. Todor Petrov, who had missed several games due to injury, made his return to the pitch in the second half.

The "Sheikhs" started aggressively, with Hyusein taking a free-kick shot in just the 2nd minute, followed by another missed opportunity in the 5th. In the 20th minute, goalkeeper Velichkov made a brilliant save following an attack by the visitors. The half ended with a 0:0 scoreline.

Just 60 seconds after the start of the second half, Kosta Dalev crossed the ball into the penalty area, where Miroslav Radev opened the scoring with a header. In the 67th minute, Denis Tokmak broke through the wing, and after the goalkeeper parried the ball, Hidayet Hyusein fired a low shot to seal the final 2:0 result. The visitors were unable to score before the end of the match.

With this victory, the "Greens" have collected 4 points and sit in 8th place in the standings, while Maritsa (Milevo) is in 5th position with 6 points. In the next round, Neftohimik will visit Krumovgrad, and Maritsa will host the second team of Botev (Plovdiv).
