The Ministry of Agriculture and Food (MAF) is organizing a national information campaign dedicated to direct payments for Campaign 2026. The meetings with farmers will be held from March 31st to April 2nd, 2026, in six regional cities: Varna, Burgas, Sliven, Dobrich, Shumen, and Yambol.
The initiative aims to provide up-to-date information regarding the application conditions and the implementation of interventions under the Strategic Plan for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas 2023-2027.
Meeting Schedule:
- March 31st (Tuesday): Varna (Darzalas Hall at Dimyat Hotel) and Burgas (meeting hall of the Regional Administration) - from 10:00 AM.
- April 1st (Wednesday): Sliven (May Hall in the Municipal Administration) and Dobrich (Europa Hall in the Regional Administration) - from 10:00 AM.
- April 2nd (Thursday): Shumen (Youth Center hall) and Yambol (Georgi Bratanov Youth Center hall) - from 10:00 AM.
Experts from the MAF will present the application conditions for direct payments during Campaign 2026, the upcoming changes in GAEC, as well as the possibilities for support under the interventions in the field of environment and climate. Farmers will be able to ask questions and receive practical guidance.
Experts from the National Agricultural Advisory Service (NAAS), the State Fund Agriculture (SFA), and the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) are participating in the meetings.
