Burgas, the maritime city, is hosting the Volleyball Nations League.

Burgas will host the Volleyball Nations League, where the Bulgarian national team will prepare and play its matches. In addition to the Bulgarians, the teams of Olympic champion France, Slovenia, Ukraine, Turkey and Japan will play in the seaside city.

Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, Deputy Mayor Manol Todorov and municipal councilor Ivan Stanev officially welcomed the Bulgarian volleyball players. Coach Gian Lorenzo Benigni expressed satisfaction with the conditions in Burgas and expects spectacular matches. Mayor Nikolov wished the national team success, emphasizing that the Burgas audience loves volleyball and will be the seventh player of the team.

Ivan Stanev, a former player and current municipal councilor, stated that the national team has undergone rejuvenation and hopes this will yield results. He called on the Bulgarian volleyball players to give their all and bring glory to the country.
