The young karate practitioners from the Seiken Karate Club in Burgas achieved an impressive success at the National Shotokan Karate Championship, which ended yesterday in Gabrovo. The club's athletes won a total of 15 medals in the kata and kumite disciplines, with 450 karateka from 26 clubs, members of the Bulgarian Shotokan Karate Federation, participating in the tournament.
The performance of the Burgas karate practitioners is a continuation of their good results in recent years. The club has established itself as one of the leading ones in the country, with its competitors regularly winning podium places at national and international competitions. The success in Gabrovo is a clear proof of the quality training and high preparation of the young karateka from Seiken.
The club's coach, Emil Ivanov, pointed out that the achieved results are the fruit of the competitors' hard work and systematic preparation. "The boys and girls work tirelessly to reach their peak form at the important tournaments. I am pleased that we were able to demonstrate the class of our club again and to establish ourselves as one of the leading ones in Bulgaria," Ivanov said.
