Forecasters at MeteoBalkans are warning again about dangerous weather on the southern Black Sea coast — this time they say it will hit in 8-9 days. Their earlier forecast had pointed to 12-14 days, but that one didn't pan out.

The forecasters say the gap between the air and the sea surface temperature is growing, which raises the risk of a storm system forming over the Black Sea.

MeteoBalkans says the European EC model also points to thunderstorms with heavy rain. If the forecast holds, the southern Black Sea coast could see torrential rain and flooding in early October.
