The large-scale infrastructure project for upgrading the strategic facility continues in full force. Construction activities are carried out with precision and adherence to the pre-developed schedule, with the focus placed on the comprehensive reconstruction of the 320-meter section.
The technical parameters of the new elements are extremely precise. Each reinforced concrete panel weighs an impressive 5.6 tons and has standardized dimensions of 2.48 by 4.40 meters. A total of 552 panels have been produced since the start of the intervention, which demonstrates the scale of the project.
Currently, several parallel processes are taking place at the site. 86 obsolete road elements have already been dismantled, with 37 new ones installed in their place. To date, 64 panels out of the total 128 planned have been installed, which means the project has passed its halfway point.
Upcoming activities include phased replacement of the collector system, intensive work on reinforcement, and surface preparation for shotcreting. Experts will also perform a comprehensive replacement of the anti-corrosion coating on the steel structure.
The organization of the construction process is extremely precise. Work is carried out only during the daylight hours, ensuring the possibility of two-way vehicle movement.
The Road Infrastructure Agency provides explicit recommendations to drivers to observe the introduced restrictions. The maximum allowed speed is 20 km/h, with emphasis on the need for increased attention, especially when passing oversized vehicles.
For maximum public awareness, the agency maintains a specialized section on its website, where current data on the progress of repair activities are regularly published.
