The Chinese company Leapmotor boldly enters the market with its new electric crossover A10, presented as the global model B03X. This car is not just a new model, but the first built on Leapmotor's all-new A-platform, making it an important stage in the company's strategy.

The new B03X is positioned as the beginning of a new era of affordable, intelligent electric SUVs, which aim to combine long range, premium technologies and global standards designed for mass markets. As a premium intelligent SUV designed for the Chinese market, the B03X offers segment-leading technologies. These include a self-parking system based on LiDAR, two flagship Qualcomm chips (8295 and 8650), an autonomous range of 505 km according to CLTC, a high-efficiency electric drive with oil cooling and an impressive space utilization coefficient of 88%.

Leapmotor demonstrates its internal expertise in the field of research and development, continuing to incorporate safety technologies in the budget segment of electric vehicles, including LiDAR (for the Chinese market) and the Qualcomm 8650 processor. In the new B03X model, the "Navigation to Parking Spot" function is available in cars with a competitively positioned price, which makes complex autonomous parking and low-speed navigation systems widely available.

The company also unveiled its new architecture, which allows for an optimized intelligent management system without requiring extreme computing resources. Leapmotor is committed to implementing these high-quality safety systems in all existing vehicles equipped with LiDAR, providing free online updates if the hardware allows.

Designed as the first model of the new A-series for global markets, the Leapmotor B03X is designed from the very beginning to meet international standards. The car is designed for global distribution in terms of design, quality, safety and performance, and is expected to be launched in nearly 40 countries and regions. Leapmotor positions the B03X as a new standard in five areas - design, space, intelligence, handling dynamics and safety.

Stylistically, the B03X uses Leapmotor's "Techno-Natural Aesthetics" 2.0 design philosophy, which combines purity, modern look and emotional impact. The dimensions (length 4270 mm, width 1810 mm, height 1635 mm and wheelbase of 2605 mm) create a dynamic, globally oriented appearance. The sloping hood, curved body lines, smoothly curved roof line and wide rear end emphasize the modern character of the SUV, complemented by 18-inch alloy wheels and contrasting wheel arches.

The interior upgrades the premium feel through a panoramic roof with an area of ​​1.55 sq.m and 99.9% UV protection, high-quality soft materials covering 2.63 sq.m of the interior surfaces, as well as premium upholstery, safe even for babies. For the first time in the industry, the floating IP Bar allows customization through accessories such as ambient lighting, air vents and additional display elements.

Space utilization is one of the main strengths of the Leapmotor B03X. Through the integration of the CTC 2.0 Plus battery and chassis and the optimized front compartment, Leapmotor achieves space efficiency of 88%, providing an internal volume comparable to larger segments. The flexible seat system allows configurations suitable for daily commutes, camping, recreation (big bed mode and relaxing tilt mode) or cargo transport.

The interior space features 34 storage compartments and a two-layer organization, and the rear trunk offers a 106-liter washable underfloor compartment suitable for separating wet and dry items. The total cargo volume ranges from 602 liters to 1549 liters with the rear seats folded.

In terms of intelligent functions, the new Leapmotor B03X in its Chinese version is equipped with 27 precision sensors, including LiDAR, which allows full use of the parking system from place to place. The infotainment system includes a surround sound system with 12 speakers, a karaoke function without an external microphone, advanced noise reduction technology and compatibility with Carlink 2.0 and Huawei HiCar 4.0.

Performance is another key highlight of the new Leapmotor B03X. The electric SUV features a 53 kWh battery, providing up to 505 km of range according to the Chinese CLTC standard, suitable for both daily commutes and long distances. The 7-in-1 oil-cooled electric drive system guarantees efficient thermal management for sustained high speeds, maintaining a maximum speed of 160 km/h and stable movement at 150 km/h.

Charging is very efficient, with the possibility of fast charging, which allows a charge from 30% to 80% in just 16 minutes, adding 250 km of range. Energy consumption is only 10.7 kWh per 100 km, which puts the Leapmotor B03X among the most efficient cars in its class. The LMC integrated motion control system developed by Leapmotor improves the stability of the car in extreme conditions such as tire punctures, icy roads, deep water or emergency maneuvers.

The new Leapmotor B03X also offers a market-leading turning radius of 5.1 meters, facilitating maneuvering in tight urban conditions. Safety is integrated into every aspect of the Leapmotor B03X. Validated through over 1 million kilometers of testing in extreme conditions, it meets global safety requirements in nearly 40 countries.

The high-strength protective cage body uses aerospace steel, capable of withstanding more than three times the weight of the car, while 18 active safety systems provide comprehensive protection. The CTC 2.0 Plus battery is designed to prevent fires or explosions up to 48 hours after thermal incidents, exceeding national standards. Sentry mode and the built-in video recorder provide 24/7 continuous monitoring.
