Lamborghini Fenomeno: The most powerful Lamborghini of all time

Only Italian craftsmanship and genius can create a car that bears the name Fenomeno – “phenomenon” in English – and justify every bit of it. This is exactly what the Italian brand Lamborghini did at the Monterey Car Week, where it presented its latest limited-edition masterpiece. The model, whose name is inspired, as always, by the world of bullfighting, is already sold out, despite its price of 3 million euros.

Fenomeno is not just a new car, but the most powerful Lamborghini of all time. With a whopping 1080 horsepower under the hood, this machine sets new standards for performance. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes a stunning 2.4 seconds, making it the fastest model of the brand to date. The company announced that only 29 units will be produced, and the huge interest from collectors and enthusiasts led to their quick sale.

Design: A Manifesto of Elegance and Tradition

According to the company, the Lamborghini Fenomeno is conceived as a "design manifesto".

It was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the brand's Design Center. The head of the center describes the creation as "hyper-elegant". The car's silhouette incorporates a continuous line that references the original Countach model, including the characteristic curved side windows.

Viewed from the back, the Fenomeno carries all the distinctive features of Lamborghini. The characteristic hexagonal motif is found around the tailpipe tips, on the side parts, and on the wheels. The Y-shaped motif is also a recurring element – from the contour of the front hood and the rear lines that only partially cover the mighty V12 engine, to the front and rear lights. The latter are designed to resemble the horns of a bull, which is deeply rooted in the brand's DNA.

Technology and Innovation: Merging Power and Aerodynamics

In terms of aerodynamics, the Lamborghini Fenomeno has both passive and active elements. The passive components include the S-shaped front air duct and the side air intakes, which improve airflow by 30% compared to the Revuelto. The active components are represented by the integrated rear spoiler, which automatically adjusts depending on the need for downforce.

The cockpit of the Fenomeno is based on that of the Lamborghini Revuelto, but offers a more sporty and exclusive experience. This is achieved through the massive use of visible carbon fiber, which further reduces weight, and extended customization options through the special Ad Personam program.

Although it shares a technical basis with the Lamborghini Revuelto, the Fenomeno is much more than its variant. The chassis is a carbon monocoque, and the front part is made of a forged composite material. The total weight of the limited-edition model is 1770 kg. This is a remarkable achievement, as its weight is identical to that of the Lamborghini Revuelto, despite the additional technologies.

Engine: The Hybrid Heart of a Beast

The hypercar's propulsion is entrusted to a 6.5-liter V12 engine, which generates 835 hp at 9250 rpm – 10 hp more than the Revuelto. The maximum torque remains unchanged at 725 Nm at 6750 rpm.

Three electric motors have been added to the gasoline unit, which together provide an additional power of 245 hp. One of the motors is integrated into the 8-speed automatic transmission, while the other two are mounted at the front, one on each wheel. The entire hybrid system is powered by a battery with a capacity of 7 kWh.

The total combined power reaches an impressive 1080 hp. This immense power allows the Fenomeno to catapult from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds, and the sprint to 200 km/h takes just 6.7 seconds. The maximum speed exceeds 350 km/h. The suspension features manually adjustable shock absorbers, allowing it to adapt to different road surfaces and track conditions. Carbon-ceramic brakes are standard equipment.

Legendary Legacy

At the heart of the exceptional driving dynamics is the 6D sensor, which records the car's movements on six axes. A computer analyzes the data in real-time, predicts the car's behavior, and adjusts its parameters. The tires, specially developed by Bridgestone, are sized 265/30 R21 at the front and 355/25 R22 at the rear.

The Lamborghini Fenomeno joins the legendary series of limited-production supercars that achieved cult status upon their release. The series began with the Reventon in 2007, followed by the Sesto Elemento (2010), Veneno (2013), Centenario (2016), Sian (2019), and Countach (2021).
