The cultural calendar of Burgas in the first months of 2026 will be filled with dynamic and diverse events, thanks to the project “Burgas - a green haven of the arts“. The project, funded by the European Union, aims to overcome seasonality and establish the city as a cultural center throughout the year.
In February and March, the following are upcoming:
- The exhibition “Sea Sails in Time“ at the “Morsko Casino“ Cultural Center.
- The event “I Dream of the Sea“ with exhibitions and performances.
- Festival of amateur creativity.
- Holidays of professional folklore music and dance art.
- The 24th edition of “Sofia Film Fest on the Coast“ and work on film projects.
- The winter modules of the International Festival of Historical Documentary Film DOCK, the International Festival of Contemporary Arts “WATER“ and “The Age of Aquarius”.
- “Black Sea Spring: Youth Edition of the Black Sea International Literary Festival“.
- Concert-spectacle “Everything is music“ with Sinfonietta - Vratsa.
The project “Burgas - a green haven of the arts“ includes 19 cultural events worth over 2.3 million BGN, which shows the commitment of Burgas Municipality to the cultural life of the city.
