A traffic accident is causing delays at the 48th kilometer of the Hemus motorway in the direction of Sofia. The road incident involved two passenger cars and one truck, according to the Road Infrastructure Agency.

Traffic is temporarily restricted to the active lane only. The passing lane is closed, and traffic is being regulated by the Traffic Police.

According to the Ministry of Interior, there are no injuries, and only material damage was reported. Traffic in the area will be restored shortly.
