State of emergency declared due to wildfires in the USA
The states of Washington and Oregon are gripped by massive wildfires, which has necessitated the declaration of a state of emergency. The Situation Center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) urges Bulgarian citizens to avoid traveling to the affected areas unless absolutely necessary.
The situation is most critical around Spokane, Washington, and Stinkingwater Mountain in Oregon, where large-scale evacuations are underway.
