Burgas pupils can attend a talk called "The Burgas Revivalists" at the Regional History Museum ahead of National Revivalists' Day, the museum said. Schools can book a visit on 087 964 86 88 or by email at [email protected].

The talk covers people who left a mark on education, culture and public life in Burgas: teachers, revolutionaries, civic figures and artists from the city. It gives the most time to civic figures and philanthropists, whose work for Burgas is often less well known.

The museum will show original documents, photos and objects from its collection. Pupils will also discuss what it means to be a revivalist today and how to keep local historical memory alive.

Pupils from primary, lower secondary and upper secondary school can attend. The talk takes place at the History Exhibition of the Burgas Regional History Museum, at 31 Lermontov Street.
