Heavy traffic at Kapitan Andreevo and Kalotina: Current border situation

Current situation at border crossings

As of 06:00 today, the General Directorate "Border Police" reports intensive traffic at the following border crossings:

• Kapitan Andreevo BCP: Intensive traffic for departing passenger cars towards Turkey.
• Kalotina BCP: Increased traffic for arriving passenger cars from Serbia.

Traffic at the other border crossings with our neighboring countries is normal.

Important: As of 10:00 on July 21, the Svishtov – Zimnicea ferry service is temporarily suspended due to the critically low water level of the Danube River.

Vehicle crossing restrictions:

• At the "Rudozem", "Zlatograd", "Makaza", and "Ivaylovgrad" border crossings, only passenger cars and vans with a total mass of up to 3.5 tons are allowed to pass.
• At "Kulata", "Ilinden", and "Kapitan Petko Voyvoda", passenger cars, buses, and trucks are permitted to pass.
