Traffic is heavy for incoming passenger cars at the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing on the border with Turkey. This was reported by the General Directorate of Border Police at the Ministry of Interior on the department's website.

Traffic at all other border crossings in the country is normal. This also applies to all border crossings on the border with Romania.

The police specified that the ferry connections serving the Oryahovo–Bechet and Svishtov–Zimnicea border crossings have temporarily suspended operations since July. The reason for the suspension is the low water level of the Danube River.

Traffic is also normal at the borders with Greece, Serbia, and the Republic of North Macedonia. Passenger cars and vans up to 3.5 tons can pass through the Rudozem, Zlatograd, Makaza, and Ivaylovgrad crossings. Passenger cars, buses, and trucks can pass through Kulata, Ilinden, and Kapitan Petko Voyvoda.
