Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Galab Donev will hold bilateral talks with the Greek Deputy Finance Minister and Governor of the Bank of Greece, Yanis Stournaras, during the informal meeting of the EU Economic and Financial Affairs Council (ECOFIN) in Dublin. Deputy Finance Minister Metodi Metodiev will also participate in the same forum, the Ministry of Finance announced.

The finance ministers will discuss the competitiveness of the European banking sector during two key working sessions. Today's session is focused on the theme "The Future of Global Capital – Innovations in the Financial Sector," while tomorrow's session will be dedicated to "Preparing the Economy for the Future – The Impact of Artificial Intelligence," with an emphasis on the influence of technology on the labor market.

Galab Donev's participation in the negotiations in Dublin has been officially confirmed by the Ministry of Finance.
