The upcoming European Championship in Standard Dance will be held in Burgas, with 53 competitive couples from 32 countries participating in the competition. The organizer of the event is the Dance Club “Burgas”.

At a press conference, details about the competition were announced by the chairman of the club, Yavor Valchev, the deputy mayor for tourism and sports, Manol Todorov, and the head of the “Sport” department, Veselina Devedzhieva.

The competition will start on December 13th in the “Arena Burgas” sports hall. The first round starts at 3:00 PM, and the official opening ceremony will take place at 7:30 PM.

Our country places great hopes on the competitive couple Ivelina Karcheva and Artur Vlasenko.

“Separately, we are organizing an international tournament that starts at 8:30 AM, and there are 220 entries for it, separate from the competitive couples. I believe that it will be a big and strong forum compared to last year,” said Yavor Valchev.

He added that the holding of the European Championship in Standard Dance in Burgas has received the support of all leading Bulgarian clubs, which will have their representatives in the competition. “In Burgas, dance clubs cooperate, and this is very favorable for this sport. This is the path that everyone else should follow,” said Deputy Mayor Manol Todorov.

Tickets will be distributed at the ticket offices of the “Arena Burgas” hall, at the Clock Tower, and at the opera house.
