EU to Create Anti-Drone System by 2027 for Defense

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy, Kaja Kallas, announced plans to create an anti-drone system, which should be "fully operational by the end of 2027." In a comment on the topic, Kallas emphasized the importance of the new measures. "Drones are already redefining war. Having protection against drones is no longer an option for anyone," she said, referring to the ongoing war in Ukraine, where the use of unmanned aerial vehicles is increasingly widespread.
