The European Central Bank (ECB) has set the reference exchange rate for the euro at 1.1460 dollars — the same level recorded the previous day. The data was published on the websites of the ECB and the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB).
At this level, the dollar's exchange rate against the euro remains 0.8726 euro — unchanged from the previous day.
For September 21, 2026, the BNB also announced the full list of exchange rates against the euro. The US dollar is trading at 1.1490 per euro, which is equal to 0.8703 euro per dollar. The Japanese yen is quoted at 180.70 per euro, or 0.005534 euro per yen. The Czech koruna is at 24.352 (0.04106 euro). The Danish krone is at 7.4755 (0.133770 euro).
The British pound is at a level of 0.85780 per euro, or 1.1658 euro per pound. The Hungarian forint is trading at 362.40 (0.002759 euro). The Polish zloty is at 4.3530 (0.2297 euro), and the Romanian leu at 5.2647 (0.1899 euro). The Swedish krona is at 11.2750 (0.08869 euro).
The Swiss franc is quoted at 0.9438 per euro, or 1.0595 euro per franc. The Icelandic króna is at 138.80 (0.007205 euro), the Norwegian krone at 10.8130 (0.09248 euro), and the Turkish lira at 56.0701 (0.01783 euro).
The Australian dollar is at 1.6098 (0.6212 euro), and the Brazilian real at 5.8920 (0.1697 euro). The Canadian dollar is at 1.6091 (0.6215 euro). The Chinese renminbi yuan is at 7.6930 (0.1300 euro), and the Hong Kong dollar at 9.0144 (0.1109 euro).
The Indonesian rupiah is quoted at 20532.06 per euro, or 0.00004870 euro. The Israeli shekel is at 3.4602 (0.2890 euro), and the Indian rupee at 110.0975 (0.009083 euro). The South Korean won is at 1576.63 (0.0006343 euro), and the Mexican peso at 19.7533 (0.05062 euro).
The Malaysian ringgit is at 4.6850 (0.2134 euro), and the New Zealand dollar at 2.0035 (0.4991 euro). The Philippine peso is at 72.151 (0.01386 euro), and the Singapore dollar at 1.4647 (0.6827 euro). The Thai baht is at 38.187 (0.02619 euro), and the South African rand at 18.6819 (0.05353 euro) per euro.
The data is published by the BNB based on Art. 12, para. 1 of the Currency Act, and its purpose is defined by law. The institution notes that it does not recommend using these rates for concluding transactions.
