Giro d'Italia 2026 Stage 3: The Day of the Great Challenge

The Giro d'Italia 2026 continues today, May 10, with the third stage, and BNT will once again bring you the spectacular race with live coverage starting at 12:50 PM.

The official start of the 175 km stage is at 1:15 PM from Plovdiv's "Tsentralen" Square.

Route and Key Points

• Start: 1:15 PM, Plovdiv.
• Route: Plovdiv – Pazardzhik – Belovo – Kostenets.
• Climb: The winter resort of Borovets (highest point of the stage).
• Finish: "Tsar Osvoboditel" Boulevard (in front of the National Assembly), Sofia.

The finish is expected between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM, where the wide "Tsar Osvoboditel" Boulevard will provide the perfect stage for a high-speed mass sprint. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 5:50 PM behind the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
