The Disciplinary Commission of the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) took unprecedented actions against football clubs after the second round of the efbet League, imposing large financial sanctions for various violations.

The Stara Zagora team Beroe is the most seriously affected, which will have to pay a total of 3800 leva in fines. The sanctions are distributed in several categories: 300 leva for unauthorized use of smoke bombs, 1500 leva for offensive chanting, and 2000 leva for dousing officials with water.

Football Club Botev from Vratsa was punished with two separate fines of 2000 leva each – one for throwing objects and the other for using obscene language. Levski received a 2000 leva sanction for throwing objects and an additional obligation to restore damages to the "Locomotive" stadium.

An interesting moment is the punishment of PFC Dobrudzha from Dobrich, which was sanctioned with 2000 leva for offensive chanting. The club will have to pay the full amount of the fine according to the Disciplinary Commission's decision from July 30, 2025.

Among the individual punishments, sanctions for players such as Ismael Ferrer Jimenez, Hristo Delchev Mitev, and Bogdan Georgiev Kostov stand out, each receiving a fine of 1300 leva.

In Second League Mr Bit, financial sanctions were also imposed. For example, players like Yuri Pineiro De Souza from OFK Vihren and Denis Corso from OFK Spartak were punished with monetary fines.

Particularly indicative is the sanction against FC CSKA 1948, which received an unprecedented fine of 10,000 leva for refusing to participate in the Temporary Football League (VPFL) before the expiration of the three-year period.

Another notable moment is the punishment of FC Sevlievo and FC Hebar, who received fines of 500 leva each for delay from the match's start time.

The Disciplinary Commission emphasized that all decisions are final and cannot be appealed, demonstrating a firm approach to adhering to sports rules and norms.

These drastic financial sanctions clearly show the BFU's intention to maintain a high standard of behavior in football championships and eliminate manifestations of violence and unsportsmanlike conduct.
