The retirement home in Aytos is moving from its building in Slaveeva Reka park to a new one at 3A Garova Street. Aytos mayor Vasil Edrev announced the move at a town council meeting. The new building was built with money from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

Council members voted to change the address where the service runs. The new address takes effect on October 1. Because the move has to happen fast, they also let the decision take effect right away.

The new home will still take 32 residents, same as now. For now, the service keeps running out of the Slaveeva Reka park building. Residents will move to the new building later, and officials say care for them won't stop and the home will keep working the whole time.

The new building gives older residents better living conditions, care and safety, council officials said at the meeting. It sits in a spot with good transport links, close to medical services, shops and public offices. The building is accessible for people with disabilities, and the sports hall and outdoor swimming pool are nearby.

Council members unanimously approved the 2025 municipal budget report, which shows revenue of 63,224,975 levs, along with the spending report for the same year. They also approved the final annual spending plan for road and street repairs in 2025. That money comes from the state.
