State aid: 77,000 euros for households affected by floods

Financial support for flood victims

The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, through the Social Protection Fund, is taking important steps to restore the normal way of life for people affected by natural disasters in recent months. A total of 71 people will receive financial assistance, with a total value amounting to 77,000 euros.

The funds are intended for furnishing and purchasing essential household electrical appliances.

Which regions are covered?

• Gorna Oryahovitsa Municipality
• Sevlievo Municipality
• Dalgopol Municipality

It is important to note that this is an additional measure to the already paid one-time assistance from the Social Assistance Agency in the amount of up to 1,171.89 euros per household.

How are the funds utilized?

The support is strictly earmarked. Expenses are covered upon presentation of expenditure documents. To facilitate the victims, the amounts can be transferred directly to the merchants from whom the appliances or furnishings were purchased.

We remind you that the government has already allocated a one-time assistance of 8,000 euros to the heirs of the victim of the floods in the Gabrovo region.
