An intense, albeit brief, storm passed through Sofia, with the Sofia Municipality receiving a total of 34 reports of fallen trees and 14 reports of flooding. Data on the damages was released by the administration at 33 Moskovska St.

Teams from the Sofia Inspectorate, along with their colleagues from the "Emergency Assistance and Prevention" department, have been deployed to manage the situation, with the main priority being the clearing of clogged storm drains. Three cases of damaged and fallen traffic lights have also been reported, one of which is located at the intersection of Bulgaria Blvd. and G. E. Geshov Blvd.

In addition to fallen trees and flooding, teams are also battling large amounts of accumulated leaf debris that gathered immediately after the storm. Employees of the Sofia Municipality and the Sofia Inspectorate are continuing their patrols, as the number of reports for assistance from citizens is constantly rising.
