On May 23, 2025, the final event of the first edition of the Robotics Workshops at the Seekers School - a project of the Great Orange Foundation - was held in Burgas. Under the motto "Celebrating what we've learned together!" the participants aged between 5 and 12 years old, who successfully completed the robotics training, received certificates and were applauded by the full conference hall of the Regional Library "Peyo Yavorov".
Inspiring messages to the Seekers were delivered by Petar Mitev, founder of the Great Orange Foundation, and Mihail Nenov, Deputy Mayor of Burgas Municipality. They expressed gratitude for the fruitful partnership and announced that in the new school year, the Robotics Workshops in Burgas will be held in two locations - the Regional Library "Peyo Yavorov" and the Meden Rudnik neighborhood, and the number of sessions will be doubled. This will give even more children with scholarships from the Great Orange Foundation the opportunity to explore the world of robotics.
Mihail Nenov emphasized that if for adults robots were once something from the realm of science fiction, today's children will increasingly share their daily lives with automated machines, so these skills are extremely important for them. Petar Mitev explained that the idea behind everything they do at the Great Orange Foundation is to support education and awaken the curiosity of children, giving them the opportunity to develop in areas such as cosmonautics, automation, and robotics.
Special attention in the Foundation's programs is also paid to the development of social skills and emotional intelligence in children, and Family Wellbeing Workshops have also been launched for this purpose. The Seekers School is one of the first projects of the Great Orange Foundation, founded by Petar Mitev, and the first Robotics Workshops opened in Burgas in 2025 in partnership with the Robotics Academy, Burgas Municipality, and the Regional Library "Peyo Yavorov".
