The first information meeting, part of the National campaign for the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria, has just begun in the 'Chernomorie' hall of the International Congress Center in Burgas. From the very beginning, the hall filled with guests – representatives of the local government, business, and citizens, who show a lively interest in the topic.
The conference was opened by the Ministry of Finance, and participants include the leading institutions in the process – "The Ministry of Finance," "The Bulgarian National Bank," "The Ministry of Economy and Industry," "The Commission for Consumer Protection," "The National Revenue Agency," "The Financial Supervision Commission," "The National Social Security Institute," and others. They are presenting detailed information regarding the key stages and deadlines for the transition to the euro.
During the event, attendees have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussions with specialists and experts. The real participation and engagement of the audience confirm the importance of the topic for society and business.
The campaign is being held in partnership with "The Economic and Social Council," "The National Association of Municipalities," employers' and trade union organizations, the Association of Banks in Bulgaria, and a number of others.
