Today's session of the National Assembly includes a blitz control with the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, followed by parliamentary control. Ministers will answer questions from MPs. Tension has arisen in the corridors.

According to the National Assembly's program, today's session will begin with a blitz control session. Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov and Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev are scheduled to answer current questions posed by the members of parliament.

This is a common practice, governed by the parliamentary rules of procedure. According to them, during the first one to two hours of the sessions on the first Friday of each month, the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers are obliged to attend and answer oral questions. These questions must be related to the general policy of the government. Each parliamentary group is entitled to two current oral questions, and the members of parliament who are not members of parliamentary groups are entitled to a total of two questions.

After the blitz control session, regular parliamentary control is scheduled for 11:00 AM. Within the framework of this part of the session, Ministers Georgi Tahov, Manol Genov, Petar Dilov, Ivan Ivanov, Krasimir Valchev and Silvi Kirilov will answer questions from the deputies.

Even from yesterday, tension was felt in the corridors of the parliament. The Speaker of the National Assembly, Raya Nazaryan, announced at the end of yesterday's plenary session that Deputy Prime Ministers Atanas Zafirov and Grozdan Karadjov would not participate in today's session due to urgent commitments. The attending members of parliament looked serious, preparing for the upcoming debates.
