The team of BC "Sveti Vlas" - boys under 14 - finished in first place in the I division - East (Southeast). The exceptional success of the athletes, led by coach Stoyan Velkov, is the result of perseverance, purposeful preparation and high sporting skill throughout the season.
During the last weekend, the young basketball players played their final two matches of the group stage, in which they recorded categorical victories against the strong teams of BC "Chernomorets" - Burgas and BC "Dolphin". With these successes, the team from Sveti Vlas took the leading position among a total of eight teams and topped the final standings in the East - Southeast zone.
Throughout the season, the athletes of BC "Sveti Vlas" demonstrated excellent teamwork, discipline and a strong competitive spirit. Their progress is the result of systematic work in the club, effective coaching leadership and the active support of the local community.
The team is to participate in the last qualifying tournament, which will determine the final four of the state championship of the Bulgarian Basketball Federation.
The municipal administration, on behalf of the citizens of Nesebar Municipality, expresses its pride in the achieved results and wishes success to the young talents in the upcoming decisive matches.
