The state of emergency in Strumyani municipality remains in effect until August 31. Restoration work continues throughout the municipality today.

Traffic has been restored on the bridge from Mikrevo toward Strumyani. However, due to the natural disaster, water supply remains suspended in the settlements of Mikrevo, Strumyani, and Ilindentsi. Potable water is being provided to residents via water tankers. It is currently unclear when train service will be restored, as there is significant damage to the railway line itself.

In Satovcha municipality, where a partial state of emergency was also declared yesterday, the situation is gradually returning to normal. The most affected areas have been cleared, and the full extent of the damage following the heavy downpour is yet to be determined.
