The Bulgarian national basketball team is facing a critical moment in their World Championship 2027 qualification campaign. On the eve of the decisive match against the Netherlands team, Captain Dimitar Dimitrov shared categorical expectations from the players.

In a statement to the official media channels of the Bulgarian Basketball Federation, Dimitrov emphasized the need for a radical change in gameplay approach. "We must demonstrate significantly higher intensity and fighting spirit," the national captain was categorical, analyzing the previous loss in Austria.
