Bulgarian Delegation Led by Andrey Gyurov Visits Kyiv: Meetings with Zelenskyy and Key Ukrainian Figures

A Bulgarian delegation, led by caretaker Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov, arrived in Kyiv, the government press service announced.

In the Ukrainian capital, the Prime Minister will have bilateral meetings with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, with Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko and with the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament – ed.) of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk. 

The delegation in Kyiv also includes the caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Nadezhda Neynski, of Transport and Communications – Korman Ismailov, of Defense – Atanas Zapryanov, of Education and Science – Sergey Ignatov, and of Energy – Traycho Traykov.

The Russian military attack against Ukraine has called into question the foundations of the international order and international law and creates a threat to Euro-Atlantic security, said caretaker Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov at his meeting on March 19 in Brussels with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at the alliance's headquarters in Brussels. 

Over the past four years, Ukraine has not only fought for its own freedom. It is fighting for the freedom of Europe, of Bulgaria and for a world in which the power of law is greater than the law of force, said caretaker Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov at the memorial meeting on the occasion of four years since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, which took place on February 24 at St. Alexander Nevsky Square next to the St. Sophia Church.
