A new stage in the management of nuclear facilities
The Chairman of the Nuclear Regulatory Agency (NRA), Tsanko Bachiyski, officially presented the license for the decommissioning of units 3 and 4 of the Kozloduy NPP.
The document has a validity period of 10 years and regulates the activities carried out by the State Enterprise Radioactive Waste (SERAW).
The license was issued to the Specialized Division "Decommissioning 1-4" of SERAW. The official presentation ceremony was attended by Elisaveta Mladenova, Deputy Executive Director of SERAW, and Sergey Tsochev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the state enterprise.
Safety as a top priority
- Strict compliance with the Act on the Safe Use of Nuclear Energy.
- Guaranteeing radiation protection and physical security.
- Safe management of radioactive waste during dismantling activities.
The regulator emphasizes that nuclear safety remains the leading priority over all other aspects of the decommissioning activities for the units.

Ахаххаха, десет години? Сериозно бе?! Добре де, аз разбирам, ядрена енергия – не е като да сменяш крушка, ама все пак... 10 години ли? Това си е цяло десетилетие! Дано поне не ни изпратят някакви "експерти" от Изгрева да ни учат как да разглобяваме реакторите. Не че нашите не са достатъчно умни, ама все пак - да не се случва нещо като в Чернобил, моля ви
