Our fellow citizen Antoni Todorov won two European titles at the highly prestigious IBJJF European Championship, held on October 31, 2025, in Rome, Italy. The competition, organized under the auspices of the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation - the world's number one federation and undoubtedly the most elite organization in this sport, brought together the best fighters from all over the world.
The atmosphere in the hall was electrifying, filled with tension and anticipation. The shouts of the audience echoed every battle, and the competitors gave their all on the mat. Antoni Todorov, representing our country, competed in the "Brown Belts, 91.5 kg, Master 4" category. With impressive technique, strength, and incredible determination, he won a gold medal, solidifying his reputation as an outstanding fighter.
But the joy didn't end there. In the absolute category (Absolute Division), where fighters compete regardless of their weight, Antoni triumphed again, this time over the champion of the heaviest competitors. He once again climbed to the highest step of the podium, winning a second European title and a second gold medal.
After the final, where joy and admiration were palpable, Antoni Todorov shared "For me, these victories are the result of years of hard work, discipline and love for the sport. Every training session, every minute on the mat makes sense when you manage to represent your country with dignity among the best".
