The national team and Yacht Club “Chernomorets Burgas” competitor, Alexandra Lukoyanova, achieved another impressive success on the international stage, after winning the second round of the Euro ILCA Cup series, held in Murcia, Spain.

Following her victory in the first round in Portugal, Lukoyanova confirmed her excellent form with another resounding victory in the Olympic ILCA 6 class for women. In a highly contested race, with the participation of 75 boats in the general classification, the Bulgarian competitor demonstrated class, consistency, and confidence, which brought her first place.

Her success comes against a background of serious international competition and confirms her place among the leading names in the class. Her performance in Spain is another important step in preparation for the upcoming major competitions during the season.

The next challenge for Lukoyanova is participation in a World Cup round in Hyères, France, where she will face the best competitors in the world. However, her main focus remains the European Championship in Castell, Croatia, in May, for which she and her team continue their targeted preparation.
