Ivan Milev's painting "Ahinora" will be on display only today at the Art Gallery in Sozopol. The exhibition "The Girl Inside" featuring Velika Prahova will also be presented at the same gallery. Both events are part of today's program for the 42nd "Apollonia" Festival of Arts.
The "Apollonia" Festival of Arts has been held since 1984. It is organized by the Apollonia Foundation, established in 1991. Every year, the stages of "Apollonia" in Sozopol attract hundreds of artists and thousands of art lovers from Bulgaria and around the world. The festival aims to preserve cultural traditions and support new talents across various art forms. This year, the program includes over 70 events spanning music, theater, literature, cinema, and fine arts. BTA is a media partner of the event.
At 6:00 PM, Ina Ivanova's book "The Untouched World" will be presented at the Art Gallery. Later, at 7:00 PM, the audience will have the opportunity to meet writer Rene Karabash, who will present her books "Someone Calls Me by Name" and "Ostaynitsa".
The theater program continues at the "Otets Paisiy" community center at 6:30 PM with the play "The New Dance Hall" by Theater 199 "Valentin Stoychev". At 7:00 PM, the Archaeological Museum will host a concert featuring participants from the masterclass of violinist Albena Danailova.
At 8:30 PM, the film "Brunch for Beginners" will be screened at the Summer Cinema. The evening at the Apollonia Amphitheater continues at 9:00 PM with the "Concertmasters of Apollonia" concert, during which violinist Svetlin Roussev will be awarded the "Apollon Toxophoros" prize. The musical program will conclude with the Raison d'être concert at the Archaeological Museum at 11:00 PM.
