According to Eng. Georgiev, the goal of the legislative changes is to regulate a completely new approach to the provision of administrative services by the Agency for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre. This will lead to the maximum facilitation of citizens and businesses, who are the main users of such services.
The first key change is the introduction of a new information system and centralized activity, which will overcome the different workload of local offices. In this way, an equally fast and high-quality service will be achieved for users, regardless of the location.
The second change is the focus on the electronic document as the official one. This will save time and money for users.
The third change is the focus on internal electronic administrative services, which institutions and persons carrying out public activities will have access to. This will ease the burden on businesses and citizens, as the necessary documents will be obtained automatically, without the need to mediate between different institutions.
According to the Executive Director, with the implementation of the new system, the Cadastre Agency will become a leader in the provision of electronic and fully automated services that do not require human intervention. This also applies to the issuance of frequently requested documents such as sketches, diagrams and certificates.
Eng. Georgiev announced that the problem with the existing overdue cases has been largely overcome, with a reduction of over 70%. Regarding the cadastral register, which is the most requested service, there are currently no delays.
