In 2025, formations from the Armed Forces destroyed a total of 419 unexploded ordnance, the Ministry of Defense announced.

From January to December 2025, the Land Forces conducted 42 operations to destroy discovered unexploded ordnance, destroying 372 items of ordnance.

The Navy participated in 36 operations in the areas of Varna, Dobrich, Burgas and in the sea spaces, destroying 24 items of ordnance.

Specialized formations from the Air Force destroyed three items of ordnance.

The formation from the National Military University "Vasil Levski" destroyed 11 items of ordnance.
