The automotive manufacturer "WITTE Automotive Bulgaria" focuses on attracting high-tech specialists with a profile of machine and industrial engineers who will manage quality and production processes. This was reported to BTA by the Human Resources Manager Svetlana Zhekova.
Currently, the company has a team of about 1,200 employees and is in a dynamic transition period. With the expansion of the production plant in Ruse, over 300 new job positions are expected to be created, demonstrating serious investment potential.
Zhekova emphasized the exceptional stringency in automotive production, where quality is of paramount importance. "Our clients have extremely strict requirements for production. This necessitates precise adherence to numerous procedures, documentary processes, and technological standards," she commented.
Among the company's strategic priorities is entering the electronic sector. Production of electronic components for the automotive industry is upcoming, which requires specialized expertise from the engineering team.
The company is investing heavily in the development of its human capital, including through employee retraining. Special emphasis is placed on the preparation of mechatronics specialists who possess in-depth knowledge of both the mechanical and electrical parts of production machines.
The modern Lean methodology is applied in the organization, which aims to continuously improve efficiency and quality. All engineers undergo specialized Lean Six Sigma training and receive professional qualification levels - from green to black belts.
The corporate culture of "WITTE Automotive Bulgaria" is distinguished by exceptional attention to employees. When designing the new building, management consulted with representatives from different departments regarding desired working conditions and leisure spaces.
The work environment is designed with care for different generations of employees. Office spaces include innovative solutions such as inner gardens, individual work zones, Japanese gardens, and fountains that create a comfortable atmosphere.
The company's production plan is closely tied to specific projects for mechanical and electronic components. Currently, work is being done on components intended for cars that will be launched on the market only in 2028.
Parallel to internal initiatives, the company is also participating in state programs for retaining and attracting Bulgarian specialists. The Ministry of Labor presented the measure "I Choose Bulgaria", which aims to stimulate the return of Bulgarian citizens from abroad and encourage internal mobility.
The measure is implemented in two components - one focused on returning Bulgarians with experience abroad, and the other on encouraging internal migration to smaller settlements for better employment.
