"Vienna Blood" takes over the Burgas Opera: An evening of Viennese finesse and music

Classical operetta and aristocratic glamour in Burgas

This evening, June 16, at 7:00 PM, the stage of the State Opera – Burgas transforms into the aristocratic Vienna of the 19th century. The production of "Vienna Blood" promises the audience a true musical celebration, filled with humor, intrigue, and the iconic melodies of Johann Strauss II.

"The time for operetta has come in my life too! Come join us, it will be fun! And the sea is nearby...", shares conductor Kalina Vasileva.

Star cast and creative team

The performance brings together exceptional artists on one stage:

• Nona Krastnikova and Yani Nikolov in the roles of the Countess and Count Zedlau.
• Maria Tsvetkova-Madzharova as the charming Franziska Cagliari.
• Yordan Hristozov in the role of the comical Prince Ypsheim-Gindelbach.

Behind the realization are director Mario Nikolov and set designer Ivan Tokadzhiev, who recreate the spirit of high society with great style and grace.
