The State Puppet Theatre in Burgas puts on "The Three Little Pigs" today at 11am. The theatre says the show suits children aged 2 and up.

Director Valentin Vladimirov staged the show. Yulia Lacheva made the puppets and sets, and Stanimir Ivanov wrote the music. Gergana Anmahyan, Zhenya Georgieva and Alex Anmahyan star in the show.

"We'll tell it with plenty of spirit, music and humour," the theatre says.

The theatre says the tale of the three little pigs comes from England, though no one knows exactly where, so every teller gives it their own twist. It starts with "Once upon a time..." because real fairy tales have no fixed age and no known author — they just keep getting told, and that's what makes them real: they were dreamed up by a master.
