Archaeological treasures come to life in Nessebar

The "Ancient Nessebar" museum invites residents and guests of the city to an exciting event, revealing the secrets of antiquity hidden beneath the layers of time. The exhibition "New Archaeological Discoveries from the Territory of Nessebar Municipality" will be officially opened on May 16 (Saturday) at 6:00 PM at the Archaeological Museum.

Visitors will have the unique opportunity to hear public lectures from the researchers themselves, who will share curious details from their field work.

European Night of Museums

The event is part of the large-scale European Night of Museums initiative. On this occasion, the doors of the Archaeological Museum will remain open to visitors until midnight (12:00 AM), and admission will be completely free.

Support for Burgas 2032

This year, the initiative is held under the banner of a cause: all museums in the Burgas region, including "Ancient Nessebar", are supporting Burgas' bid for European Capital of Culture in 2032.
