A Magical Premiere in Burgas: "The Secret of Strandzha"
On May 25th at 11:00 AM, the "Peyo Yavorov" Regional Library in Burgas will host an exciting event – the presentation of the children's book "The Secret of Strandzha". Its author, Stanislava Kalcheva, is a teacher and archaeologist who draws inspiration from the mysticism and rich cultural heritage of the region.
"Strandzha carries magic within itself. No matter how many times you visit it, there is always something new to discover," the author shares.
The book is the result of in-depth research and a love for Bulgarian folklore. The illustrations are the work of artist Tsveta Petrova, who brings the fairy-tale creatures in the story to life.
About the author:
- Graduated in "Archaeology" from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
- Master's degree in "Museology" and "Primary School Pedagogy".
- Teacher at NUMSI "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov".
