Play "It Wasn't Me" at NDK: Yesterday's Heroes Back on Stage

Tomorrow, 05.11., at the NHK Cultural Center, the city's residents will have the opportunity to immerse themselves again in the magic of theatrical art. From 19:00, the continuation of the beloved film "Yesterday" – "It Wasn't Me" will come to life on stage.

Great interest in the performance is expected, as the audience will once again meet their favorite characters.

The familiar faces of Hristo Shopov and Sofia Kuzeva-Cherneva will shine on stage, who will once again take on the main roles, promising an unforgettable experience. The play is based on a screenplay by Vlado Daverov, directed by Liza Shopova, the set design is entrusted to Anelia Raykova, and the music, which will caress the senses of the viewers, is the work of the emblematic Kiril Marichkov.

The intricate story tells of Ivan and Dana, the central characters from the novel and the film "Yesterday", who meet again, a full 35 years later. Their chance encounter takes place in the same school where they studied decades ago. The question that excites everyone is whether a single kiss can connect these two people over the years and whether their meeting will continue from where it left off so long ago. Will they be able to find their way to each other, or will the life that each of them has built prove to be an insurmountable obstacle?

Their meeting has been long awaited by both of them, but postponed for years. Now fate brings them together again, giving them a second chance to face each other, to say what has been left unsaid and to understand whether the secret desire they have harbored for years is still alive, or is just a privilege of youth.
