Sozopol to Host Gymkhana and Rally in November 2025

Sozopol will become the epicenter of motorsports in November 2025, hosting two exciting events that promise unforgettable experiences for all speed enthusiasts. The city will host the Gymkhana "Sozopol Rally – The Road is Not a Track" and the Super Rally Sozopol 2025, which will bring together the best drivers and fans of motorsports.

On November 1st and 2nd, 2025, Sozopol will tremble with adrenaline and the roar of engines. On November 1st, starting at 11:00 AM, the impound lot next to the stadium will transform into an arena of skill and precision. Participants in the Gymkhana "Sozopol Rally – The Road is Not a Track" will demonstrate their driving skills, speed, and safety. The organizers from the Automotive Sports Club "Mitevi Rally Team" emphasize responsible driving and the importance of automotive culture, following the motto "The Road is Not a Track".

Gymkhana, as one of the main disciplines in motorsports, offers a dynamic competition held on a pre-fenced area. Drivers will compete to complete various elements of the track in the shortest possible time, avoiding errors that lead to penalties.

The competitors will engage in battle in three different schemes, divided by categories, including men and women, as well as cars up to 1600 cubic centimeters and over 1600 cubic centimeters. The best will be awarded cups and prizes, while the audience will enjoy a spectacular show.

The next day, November 2nd, 2025, at 10:00 AM, the Super Rally Sozopol 2025 will start – one of the most anticipated automotive events. The track will run along the section from the Sozopol Municipality building to the turnoff for the village of Ravadinovo, 6 kilometers long.

The event will take place on an asphalt road, where participants will start individually, passing at a pace along the same route, ending with a finish line. The time it takes to cross the distance between the starting and finishing lines will be measured to track the performance of each participant. The rally has no competitive character and will be held in accordance with the requirements of the Law on Physical Education and Sports.

Kremena Miteva, the event organizer, shares that with these events "we aim to exchange knowledge and skills that can be applied in controlled and safe conditions. We believe that this format is extremely useful for increasing road safety by demonstrating high sports skills by the participants, presented to the guests of the event".

The organizers promise a true spectacle of speed and precision, where the best drivers from the region and the country will gather. The atmosphere will be charged with enthusiasm and excitement as powerful engines echo through the city.
