The seventh edition of the Summer Academy of Drawing for Children and Students in Burgas will be held from June 23 to July 18, 2025. The organizer of the event is the Branch of the National Academy of Arts in Burgas, with the assistance of the Municipality. The Academy will offer the young artists exciting encounters with the world of art, as they will create under the guidance of students and lecturers from the National Academy of Arts, as well as visiting artists.
Children and students aged 6 to 18 will be able to participate in a variety of workshops, including Academic Drawing, Painting, Graphics, Sculpture, Poster, Authored Booklet, Authored Comic, Ceramics and Pottery, Icons, Textiles, Making Puppets and Decorations for Puppet Theater, Plein Air - Sea Landscape, Land Art. Workshops on techniques such as Ebru, Fashion Design, and Graphics will also be held.
The seventh Summer Academy will conclude with a grand exhibition "Ah, the Sea", presenting the best children's works, which will be exhibited in the "Studio" gallery of the Branch of the National Academy of Arts in Burgas. For the third consecutive year, a charity bazaar will be organized, where citizens will be able to purchase works by the young artists in support of their peers in need.
The Summer Academy will start on June 23, 2025, at 9:00 AM in the building of the Branch of the National Academy of Arts in Burgas, Magaziya 1, 2nd floor, Burgas Port Complex. The participation fees are 35 BGN for the whole day, 20 BGN for the morning block, and 20 BGN for the afternoon block, with social discounts provided.

The program of the Summer Academy includes not only workshops, but also workshops, happenings, lectures, visits to cultural sites, plein air and an excursion to St. Anastasia Island. Registrations are accepted at the Branch of the National Academy of Arts in Burgas with the project coordinator Nevena Prodanova and the director Maria Landova.
