The Ministry of Tourism continues its initiatives to promote domestic tourism during the summer season, focusing attention on mountain destinations. On June 27, Chepelare will host a free concert with the participation of Stefan Valdobrev and TRIGAIDA, and from June 26 to 28 the Second National Scientific Conference on Climate Treatment will be held in the resort of Pamporovo.

On June 27 (Friday), Chepelare will turn into a scene of a true festival for the senses. At 6:00 PM on the "Olympic" square, an open event for the general public will begin, combining the magic of the Rhodope Mountains, the richness of the local cuisine, and inspiring Bulgarian music. The festival will start with the presentation and tasting of authentic Rhodope dishes, prepared by local master chefs. Guests will be able to try flavors passed down through generations. And immediately after that follows the climax of the celebration - an open-air concert, where music will be the main protagonist.

On the stage will be the beloved by all generations Stefan Valdobrev with the musicians from "The Usual Suspects". They will perform their iconic songs, including "Free" - the piece that first sounded on the stage in Pomorie and is already emerging as the new summer hit. "Free" is the pilot single from his upcoming album "The Acoustics of Bulgaria", and the Ministry of Tourism announced the beginning of the summer tourist season, recognizing in this song a message for everyone who is looking for their place in Bulgaria, to escape the daily routine and recharge with energy both in the mountains and at the sea. TRIGAIDA will bring their unique mix of folklore and electronic sounds, creating a magical atmosphere under the open sky.

Parallel to the festival, from June 26 to 28, the Second National Scientific Conference on Climate Treatment "The Role of Climate Treatment Resorts for Health - the Example of Pamporovo" will be held in Chepelare. The purpose of the conference is to emphasize the possibilities of the Pamporovo resort complex and the region in the application of climate treatment and to provide a new, modern view of the destination through an in-depth study of the topic.

"After successfully opening the summer tourist season in Pomorie with a focus on sea tourism, we now turn our attention to the advantages of the mountains, which offer coolness and diverse experiences during the warm months of the year. Chepelare and Pamporovo are an excellent example of how mountain tourism can be combined with traditions, culture and healthcare. Events like this concert and the climate treatment conference show the rich potential of the region and contribute to the sustainable development of tourism in Bulgaria. I invite everyone to enjoy this unique mountain summer in the heart of the Rhodope Mountains" - emphasized Minister Miroslav Borshosh.

The concert on June 27 is free of charge and is an invitation to all - guests and locals - to experience an unforgettable summer evening event. The event is organized by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Municipality of Chepelare.

Welcome to Chepelare - a city with an Olympic character, where nature, tradition and contemporary cultural expression meet in an inimitable way!
