Director Nadya Pancheva has started rehearsals for the play "My End in You" by Xavier Durringer at the "Adriana Budevska" Drama Theatre in Burgas. The cultural institution in the seaside city announced that the premiere of the play is planned for December.

The translation of the text is the work of Svetla Pancheva. Iliyana Kancheva is responsible for the set design and costumes, and the music is entrusted to Yavor Namliev.

The cast of the new production includes Marin Apostolov, Lyuboslava Marinova, Viktor Dimitrov, Nikol Karabinova, Boris Dikov and Ivan Grigorov.

The director Nadya Pancheva is a graduate of Prof. Plamen Markov at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts "Krastyo Sarafov". In an interview with BTA in 2022, she shared: "A young artist needs time and experience with different projects and provocations to find their own stage language, what excites them, their own way of working. At the same time, our market is limited, it is small and there are more talented people than places for them, and it is difficult to establish yourself as a name, to be recognizable in the theatrical network, so that you can receive invitations from theatre directors".

Among the previous theatrical projects of Nadya Pancheva, "Anna - the Irreparable" by Stefano Massini stands out, which in 2025 received two nominations for the "Ikar" awards. Before that, she staged the play "Innocent Little Murder" by Jean-Pierre Martinez at the "Sofia" theatre. That same year, in Kazanlak, the director created "Oleanna" by David Mamet, as well as "Miracle" by Ivan Radoev in Pleven. Her repertoire also includes "Breaking" and "On Pure" by Neil LaBute. Over the years, she participated in a workshop for documentary theatre at the "Replica" theatre, and in Lovech she organized a workshop within a festival for young directors, together with two of her colleagues.

BTA recalls that at the end of October, the premiere of "The Illusion" by Pierre Corneille, directed by Nikolay Yordanov, took place at the "Adriana Budevska" Drama Theatre. The next performance of the play is scheduled for November 24. Meanwhile, the second edition of the competition for young directors named after Borislav Chakrinov, a long-time director of the theatre, is also continuing in the cultural institution. The candidates for the competition have chosen texts by Harold Pinter, Eugene Ionesco and Mary Jones.
