Premiere of the book “Juliet and the Others” and a meeting with the author Vesela Lyutskanova will be held on January 28, 2026 (Wednesday) at the House of the Writer Burgas at 6:00 PM. Journalist Bozhidar Bozhkov will also take part in the meeting, and the book will be presented by Roza Boyanova.

The documentary novel is published by the “East-West“ publishing house in 2025 on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the legend of rhythmic gymnastics, with the dedication: “To Juliet Shishmanova, who turned rhythmic gymnastics into art and created the first golden girls of Bulgaria – NEVER FORGET!”.

The heroine of Vesela Lyutskanova – Kaya, whose prototype is the author herself, meets a strange man on the seashore every morning, who has been staring at the horizon for years. This is Shishman – Juliet's son: “Yes, I am waiting and I will wait for the person I love so much and who promised me to return... Even Vanga said years ago, they are alive and will return by sea... I was eight years old before her departure...”.

A mysterious crash happened on March 16, 1978. The coffin-plane crashed near Vratsa, but nothing was found, no evidence – corpses or luggage, nor the plane's black box...

Vesela Lyutskanova does her own investigation, collecting the pieces of the puzzle – memories of relatives, scarce information, because the evidence for the crash is classified and masterfully builds the image of the living Juliet, who brought Bulgaria to the world stage of rhythmic gymnastics.
